Brylliant Productions is pleased to announce our first community theater production with our summer 2025 selection:
Footloose the musical!

All roles are Non-Equity and open to adults 18+ and teens (14-17)
*adults 18+ will be paid a stipend at the end of the performances
*students 14-17 will pay a production fee to participate

no tech/performance conflicts permitted)
REHEARSALS BEGIN: WEDNESDAY MAY 14th (read-through)
MONDAY MAY 19th, TUESDAY May 20th WEDNESDAY May 21st 6-9PM
MONDAYS JUNE 2nd and 9th, WEDNESDAYS June 4th and 11th 6-9PM
MONDAY- FRIDAY June 16-20th 6-9pm
SATURDAYS June 7th, 14th, 21st 10am-2pm
TECH WEEK:
SUNDAY June 22nd 10am-6pm
MONDAY-TUESDAY June 23-24 6-10pm
DRESS REHEARSAL: WEDNESDAY JUNE 25 6-10pm
PERFORMANCES JUNE 26, 27 and 28 at 7:30pm, June 28 at 2pm

*mandatory dance call for teen ensemble at 5:30pm*
(unless auditioning for an adult non-dancing role, everyone should plan to attend one of the dance calls)

AUDITION PREP:
For all, please prepare 16-32 bars of a musical theater selection (singing from the show is welcome)
For Willard and Ethel, please also prepare one of the character sides below.
For teen ensemble, please read the teen monologue in addition to your song.

CAST BREAKDOWN ***STILL SEEKING:***
WILLARD HEWITT - Big guy, short temper, loves his mama. Befriended by Ren. Many lines,
sings Solo & 3-part harmony with several solo lines. "Learns" to dance.
Age - 16-25 appearing as a high school junior / senior
ETHEL MCCORMACK - REN's mother, has a duet with VI – mature vocal sound desired.
Age – late Thirties - fifties
TEEN CHORUS / DANCERS/ENSEMBLE
Ages 14-20 to play teens. Small speaking and singing roles. Several big dance numbers in show - dancers/singers needed. Tumbling a plus!
